870 20 Gauge
- Early Remington 870 20 Gauge models are built on a 12 Gauge frame.
- Use 12 gauge furniture for these models(may be denoted by an X or N as the serial number suffix and must be early production,
current production with and "X" needs 20Ga furniture) - Buttstock is supplied with new bolt and washer
- Forend is a longer style and will require a forend wrench to install the nut inside of the forend
- The Buttstock has a molded adapter on the front
- The forend has a molded adapter in the rear of the forend
- Bolt used to secure the stock is 1/4-28 by 5.5" long
870 Shotgun 12 Gauge
- Fits Remington 870 Express Super Magnum
- Fits 12 GA only. Stock, forend and Tamer.
- Stock DROP: Measured with top of receiver against a flat surface. The nose (front of comb) measures 1 1/2" down and at the heel (top of butt pad) measures 2 1/2" down, a 1" Drop.
- LOP is 14" on standard and 12" on "short shot" stocks. The recoil pad is 1" thick.
- Forend is short police style 7 1/4" long, can be used with side saddle.
- Butt stock is supplied with a new bolt and washer.
- Tamer is supplied with a new short bolt and washer. (bolts and washers will not interchange between stocks and tamer grip)
- Will NOT fit the 1100 / 11-87 series shotguns. Does not accommodate the action spring tube.
- Will not fit the 74, 76, 760, 740, 742, 750, 7600, 7400 or any of the other models Remington pump/auto rifles.
