Hogue HandAll

  • NOTE: Do not install a HandAll on any firearm with a grip safety such as Colt .45 1911 style pistols or Para Ordnance, Etc.

Installing the HandAll is not hard, but requires some work. The best way we have found is to warm up the grip in boiling water. The water method is very effective and fairly fool proof. Boil a pot of water, shut the heat off and carefully place the Handall in the water. After about five minutes carefully remove the hot grip from the hot water and dry it off. Start stretching it over the bottom of the grip frame pulling it up into place alternating pulling front to back. It is important to avoid any sharp corners around the magazine well area and bottom of grip frame. In the event you can not avoid a sharp corner, cover it with a couple layers of masking tape. Make sure the grip is installed right side up. There is an arrow on the inside of the grip indicating the top of the grip. Windex, Hairspray can be used to aide in the installation of the grip, it acts as a lubricant. Spray the inside of the grip (not the firearm)then proceed with the above installation method. Once installed, remove the masking tape "if used" and wipe up any Windex residue. The grips do fit tight and are harder to get on the large models such as the 21 but they work well once they are installed. If you are careful not to tear them the HandAll can even be stretched over large items like cordless drills!HandAll can tear. We purposely made the Handall thin so it would be comfortable and not add unnecessary bulk.
