K and L Frame Round Butt
  • Fits the following Smith and Wesson K/L Frame Round Butt Models:
    69, 242, 296, 386, 396, 520(7 shot model), 619, 620, 646, 647, 696, 986
  • the following models are either Round or Square Butts:
    10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 547, 586, 617, 681, 686

  • To differentiate between Round and Square Butt, Measure the flat area on the very bottom of your grip. This is the surface that commonly has the serial number located on it. Round butts will measure under 1 ¼” and Square butts will be over 1 ¼”.

  • Hogue grips for Smith & Wesson revolvers are the one-piece Monogrip design. They are ambidexterous allowing both right and left handed use. Installation is easy requiring the stirrup to be simply snapped over the existing stock pin. The grip then slides up from the butt, with one screw securing the grip through the butt. All necessary hardware is provided.
  • This grip is an open backstrap design for optimum trigger reach.
  • Some rubber and nylon grips have a "speedloader" cut out on one side only some are cut out on both sides - Wood grips are cut out on both sides.
  • Smith and Wesson produces a 5-shot 44 Magnum revolver that is on an L frame. MODEL 69

  • Smith models 460, 500, and Governor use the same grips as the K/L round butt frame revolvers.
    The wood and G10 grips that we make for the K/L round butt frames will break when installed and fired on these models.
    We CANNOT warranty any wood or G10 grip that was installed on one of these models.

    Our Rubber grips for the K/L round butt frames are the grips to use. These will not break during recoil.
