- Stock Pin Notes:
Must replace standard 5/8" stock pin with shorter 1/2" pin on wood models only, the new pin is included with the grip. On some frames, the pin hole in the frame is a little on the large side. It is OK that the pin is a little loose. The grip will keep the pin in the frame and the tension created by the screw in the stirrup assembly will keep the pin from moving.
Must be sure to center the stock pin if the grip will not start on frame or go on all the way. - WOOD GRIPS:
- This grip fits vast majority of Airweight models...However we have found on rare occaions some airweight frames are slightly longer and do not fit down in the bottom snugly, in this case a small amount of wood needs to be removed from inside the bottom of the grip.
- Wood grips can be made into T/FG or N/FG by sanding off finger grooves.
